U.S. stocks rose over Monday trading session as Wall Street indices ended the first trading day of the week higher.
🇺🇸 Dow 30 ended the day up by 47.98 points or 0.14% higher to 33,348.60. While 🇺🇸 Nasdaq closed higher and up by 80.47 points or 0.66% to 12,365.21 and 🇺🇸 S&P 500 added 12.2 points or 0.3% higher to 4,136.28.
Investors seem to take positive cue ahead of key data in the coming days as there were no major U.S. economic news in the last 24 hours.
In the upcoming event, we may expect high volatility ahead of Retail Trade Turnover (1-mth) to be released at 8:30am on Tuesday (New York Time). Economists are expecting higher forecast compared to previous report.
Wall Street Top Gainers, Losers and Active Stocks
Top two gainers in the last trading session include Immunitybio Inc (IBRX) as the stock surged 41.23% to 3.22 while Sarepta Therapeutics Inc (SRPT) added 30.77% to 157.19.
