U.S. stocks rose over Wednesday trading session as Wall Street indices ended the session higher.
🇺🇸 S&P 500 ended the day surged by 48.87 points or 1.19% higher to 4,158.77. While 🇺🇸 Nasdaq closed higher and up by 157.51 points or 1.28% to 12,500.57 and 🇺🇸 Dow 30 added 408.63 points or 1.24% higher to 33,420.77.
Investors seem to take positive cue ahead of key data in the coming days as there were no major U.S. economic news in the last 24 hours.
In the upcoming event, we may expect high volatility ahead of Initial Unemployment Insurance Claims to be released at 8:30am on Thursday (New York Time). Economists are expecting lower forecast compared to previous report.
What happened lately
– USD Building Permits (1-mth) in April dropped to 1.416M compared to previous figure 1.437M (revised from 1.413M).
Wall Street Top Gainers, Losers and Active Stocks
Top two gainers in the last trading session include Bausch Health Companies Inc (BHC) as the stock surged 24.09% to 7.47 while GoHealth Inc. (GOCO) added 20.01% to 16.25.
Losers include Intapp Inc (INTA), erasing -15.72% from its share price to 37.16 and Kyndryl Holdings Inc (KD) dropped -12.87% to 12.53.
Elsewhere, most active counters were Tesla Inc (TSLA), Advanced Micro Devices Inc (AMD) to name a few.
