U.S. stocks dropped over Thursday trading session as Wall Street indices ended the session lower.
🇺🇸 Dow 30 ended the day plunged -366.38 points or -1.07% lower to 33,922.26. While 🇺🇸 S&P 500 closed lower and down by -35.23 points or -0.79% to 4,411.59 and 🇺🇸 Nasdaq dropped -112.61 points or -0.82% lower to 13,679.04.
Investors seem wary as they continue to digest recent economic data of 🇺🇸 U.S. ISM Services PMI in June exceed forecast and rose to 53.9 points compared to previous figure 50.3 points in May
In the upcoming event, we may expect high volatility ahead of Nonfarm Payroll Employment to be released at 8:30am on Friday (New York Time). Economists are expecting lower forecast compared to previous report.
What happened lately
– 🇺🇸 U.S. Job Openings and Labor Turnover Survey (JOLTS) in May below forecast and dropped to 9.8M compared to previous figure 10.103M in April.
– 🇺🇸 In the week ending 01 July, U.S. Initial Unemployment Insurance Claims rose to 248K compared to previous figure 236K (revised from 239K).
– 🇺🇸 U.S. Challenger Job Cuts in June dropped to 40.709K compared to previous figure 80.089K in May.
