From the US

U.S. stocks rose over Friday trading session as Wall Street indices ended the session higher.

๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ Dow 30 ended the day up by 222.24 points or 0.66% higher to 34,061.32. While ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ Nasdaq closed higher and up by 184.09 points or 1.38% to 13,478.28 and ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ S&P 500 added 40.56 points or 0.94% higher to 4,358.34.

Investors seem to take positive cue after U.S. Nonfarm Payroll Employment in October added 150K jobs but slowed compared to September, while unemployment rate nudged little higher at 3.9% according to U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics.

There are no major U.S. economic data on Monday, though traders might be interested in Loan Officer Survey to be released at 2:00pm (New York Time).

– ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ U.S. Factory Orders (1-mth) in September exceed forecast and rose to 2.8% compared to previous figure 1, revised from 1.2% in August.
– ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ U.S. Nonfarm Business Labor Productivity in Q3 preliminary estimate exceed forecast and rose to 4.7% compared to previous figure 3.5% in Q2.
– ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ U.S. Challenger Job Cuts in October dropped to 36.836K compared to previous figure 47.457K in September.
– ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ U.S. Nonfarm Payroll Employment in October added 150K jobs, unemployment rate changed little at 3.9%.
– ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ U.S. Fed Interest Rate Decision (Federal Funds Rate) unchanged at 5.5% compared to previous rate 5.5%.

– ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ U.S. Housing Price Index (1-mth) in August exceed forecast and dropped to 0.6% compared to previous figure 0.8% in July.
– ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ U.S. Employment Cost Index in Q3 exceed forecast and rose to 1.1% compared to previous figure 1% in Q2.

Wall Street Top Gainers, Losers and Active Stocks

Top two gainers in the last trading session include Expedia Group Inc. (EXPE) as the stock surged 18.84% to 112.71 while DigitalOcean Holdings Inc (DOCN) added 16.63% to 24.76.

Losers include Fox Factory Holding Corp (FOXF), erasing -27.19% from its share price to 60.53 and Bill Com Holdings Inc (BILL) dropped -25.19% to 66.93.

Elsewhere, most active counters were Tesla Inc (TSLA), Palantir Technologiesย Inc (PLTR) and Apple Inc (AAPL) to name a few.
