From the US
U.S. stocks rose over Friday trading session as Wall Street indices ended the session higher.
🇺🇸 Dow 30 ended the day surged by 391.16 points or 1.15% higher to 34,283.10. While 🇺🇸 Nasdaq closed higher and up by 276.66 points or 2.05% to 13,798.11 and 🇺🇸 S&P 500 added 67.89 points or 1.56% higher to 4,415.24.
Investors seem to take positive cue from the recent economic data 🇺🇸 U.S. Michigan Index of Consumer Sentiment in November preliminary estimate below forecast and dropped to 60.4 points compared to previous figure 63.8 points in October according to University of Michigan.
There are no major U.S. economic data on Monday, though traders might be interested in Monthly Budget Statement from Bureau of the Fiscal Service to be released at 2:00pm (New York Time). Analysts are expecting higher forecast compared to previous report.
Key events that happened over the week
– 🇺🇸 U.S. UoM 5-year Consumer Inflation Expectation in November preliminary estimate exceed forecast and rose to 3.2% compared to previous figure 3% in October.
– 🇺🇸 U.S. Michigan Index of Consumer Sentiment in November preliminary estimate below forecast and dropped to 60.4 points compared to previous figure 63.8 points in October.
Wall Street Top Gainers, Losers and Active Stocks
Top two gainers in the last trading session include Doximity Inc (DOCS) as the stock surged 16.24% to 23.83 while Light & Wonder Inc (LNW) added 11.21% to 86.82.
Losers include MSP Recovery Inc. (LIFW), erasing -19.79% from its share price to 5.31 and Trade Desk Inc (TTD) dropped -16.66% to 64.01.
Elsewhere, most active counters were Plug Power Inc (PLUG), Tesla Inc (TSLA) and Advanced Micro Devices Inc (AMD) to name a few.
